    FAQ

    Een asafdichting voor een automatische transmissie is een afdichtingsonderdeel dat wordt gebruikt bij verschillende in- en uitgangen van de as van de transmissie. De functie ervan is het voorkomen van lekkage van transmissievloeistof en het beschermen van interne onderdelen tegen vuil, vocht en andere verontreinigingen.

    Belangrijke specificaties zijn onder andere de binnen- en buitendiameter, de dikte, het materiaal (zoals NBR, FKM of PTFE), de temperatuurbestendigheid, de drukbestendigheid en de compatibiliteit met de transmissie. Het moet bestand zijn tegen rotatie, hitte en blootstelling aan transmissievloeistof.
