    FAQ

    Een interieurfilter is een onderdeel van het ventilatiesysteem van een voertuig dat de lucht filtert die het interieur binnenkomt. De functie ervan is het verwijderen van stof, pollen, vervuilende stoffen en andere zwevende deeltjes, waardoor schone en gezonde lucht in de cabine wordt gegarandeerd en het comfort voor de passagiers wordt verbeterd.


    Belangrijke specificaties zijn onder andere de filterafmetingen, de filtratie-efficiëntie en het filtertype (standaard deeltjesfilter of actief koolstoffilter). Actieve koolstoffilters bieden extra bescherming door geuren en schadelijke gassen te absorberen. Het filtermateriaal is doorgaans gemaakt van meerlaags papier of synthetische materialen die ontworpen zijn om de luchtstroom te behouden en te functioneren binnen temperatuurbereiken van -20 °C tot +80 °C.


    Vervanging wordt aanbevolen bij regelmatige onderhoudsbeurten, meestal één of twee keer per jaar, of wanneer symptomen zoals verminderde luchtstroom, onaangename geuren of toegenomen stof in de cabine optreden. In stedelijke of vervuilde omgevingen kan frequentere vervanging nodig zijn.
