    Een magnetische koppeling voor een airconditioningcompressor is een elektromechanisch onderdeel dat de compressor verbindt en loskoppelt van de aandrijfriem van de motor. De functie ervan is om de compressor alleen te activeren wanneer koeling nodig is, door middel van een elektromagnetisch veld dat de poelie met de compressoras verbindt. Dit zorgt voor een efficiënte werking en vermindert onnodige belasting van de motor.
