    Een afdichtring is een onderdeel dat wordt gebruikt om een goede afdichting te creëren tussen twee met elkaar verbonden delen. De functie ervan is het voorkomen van lekkage van vloeistoffen of gassen en het beschermen van systemen tegen verontreinigingen zoals vuil en vocht.
