    De Seal Ring, charger (635.590.010) afdichting beschermt kritieke afdichtingsvlakken van de turbocompressor tegen lekkage van uitlaatgassen en olie. Door deze te vervangen door een Porza-kwaliteit pakking wordt de juiste turbodruk hersteld en wordt het turbosysteem beschermd tegen voortijdige slijtage.

    FAQ

    Een afdichtring voor een compressor (turbocompressor of supercharger) is een afdichtingsonderdeel dat in of rondom de compressor wordt gebruikt. De functie ervan is het voorkomen van olie- of luchtlekkages, waardoor de juiste druk, smering en efficiënte werking van het compressorsysteem worden gewaarborgd.


    Belangrijke specificaties zijn onder andere de binnen- en buitendiameter, de dikte, het materiaal (zoals hitte- en oliebestendig rubber, metaal of PTFE), de temperatuurbestendigheid en de compatibiliteit met het laadsysteem. Het moet bestand zijn tegen hoge temperaturen, druk en rotatiekrachten.


    Vervanging is nodig wanneer de afdichting versleten, uitgehard of lek is. Veelvoorkomende symptomen zijn olielekkages, verlies van turbodruk, verminderde motorprestaties of ongebruikelijke geluiden.
