    FAQ

    Een afdichtring voor een koelvloeistofleiding is een afdichtingsonderdeel dat wordt gebruikt bij de aansluitpunten van leidingen in het koelsysteem. De functie ervan is om een lekvrije verbinding te garanderen, koelvloeistofverlies te voorkomen en de juiste systeemdruk en -doorstroming te handhaven.

    Belangrijke specificaties zijn onder andere de binnen- en buitendiameter, de dikte, het materiaal (zoals rubber of hittebestendig elastomeer), de temperatuurbestendigheid en de compatibiliteit met het koelsysteem. Het moet bestand zijn tegen hitte, druk en blootstelling aan koelvloeistof.

    Vervanging is nodig wanneer de afdichting versleten, uitgehard, gebarsten of lek is. Het wordt ook aanbevolen om de afdichting te vervangen tijdens onderhoud aan het koelsysteem of wanneer leidingen worden verwijderd.
