    De Shaft Seal, crankshaft (70-0355) afdichting sluit de motorolie af bij de uitgang van de krukas. Door deze te vervangen door een Porza-afdichting wordt de olieretentie, de motorbescherming en de betrouwbaarheid op lange termijn hersteld.

    Belangrijke specificaties zijn onder andere de binnen- en buitendiameter, de dikte, het materiaalsoort (zoals NBR of FKM), de temperatuurbestendigheid en de compatibiliteit met de motor. Het moet bestand zijn tegen rotatie, druk en blootstelling aan olie.
