    FAQ

    Een remschijfspatbord, ook wel stofkap genoemd, is een beschermende metalen plaat die achter de remschijf is gemonteerd. De belangrijkste functie ervan is het beschermen van de remschijf en remblokken tegen water, vuil, zout en wegdeeltjes, waardoor de remprestaties constant blijven en vroegtijdige slijtage wordt verminderd.


    Belangrijke specificaties zijn onder andere de diameter, bevestigingspunten, vorm en materiaaldikte. Spatborden worden doorgaans gemaakt van gecoat staal of aluminium om corrosie te voorkomen.
