    FAQ

    Een distributiekettingrevisieset is een set onderdelen die gebruikt worden voor het onderhoud of de vervanging van het distributiekettingsysteem van een motor. Deze set bevat doorgaans de distributieketting, kettingspanner, geleiderails, tandwielen en soms afdichtingen of pakkingen.


    Belangrijke specificaties zijn onder andere de kettinglengte, het aantal schakels, het ontwerp van het tandwiel, het type kettingspanner, de materiaalkwaliteit en de compatibiliteit met de motor. Alle onderdelen moeten nauwkeurig op elkaar afgestemd zijn om de juiste motortiming te garanderen.


    Vervanging is nodig wanneer het distributiekettingensysteem tekenen van slijtage of defecten vertoont. Veelvoorkomende symptomen zijn rammelende geluiden, een verkeerde uitlijning van de motor, slechte prestaties of waarschuwingslampjes.
